Darkrise is a classic hardcore game that was created by two indie developers in a nostalgic pixel style.
In this action RPG game you can meet 3 characters – Alice, Godric and Kira. Each of them has unique skills, game mechanics and resources.
The homeland of the game’s heroes was invaded by undead creatures and demons. Now they need to become stronger and cleanse the country from invaders.
There are 20 places to play and 6 difficulties. Enemies will appear in front of you or appear in portals that will appear randomly on the spot every few seconds. All enemies are different and have unique characteristics. Defective enemies can sometimes appear, they have random statistics and you cannot predict their powers. That’s why playing Darkrise is never boring.
The combat system is quite interesting: the camera shakes, attack flashes, health drop animation, flying fall on all sides. Your character and enemies are fast, you always have to move if you don’t want to lose.
There are many possibilities to make your character stronger. There are 8 types and 6 rarities of equipment. You can make slots in your armor and put gems in there, you can also combine several gems of a type to get an upgrade. The city’s blacksmith will be happy to upgrade and reform his armor to make it even better.
