My Planet is a virtual simulation game where you take control of a planet and try to grow a healthy and prosperous population! It’s like a virtual pet on a planetary level. Play with God by manipulating sunlight and rain to increase the largest possible population.

My Planet runs in real time, even when the game is closed. Therefore, you should check again throughout the day to ensure that your planet is functioning at optimal levels. The controls are simple to use, the domain can take weeks. Can you reach the ultimate goal of increasing your planet to more than 1,000,000 people? Or will your planet burn under the sun while your people are in distress? It’s your choice!

The ultimate goal of My Planet is to create a happy and prosperous population. Your population will continue to grow as long as you have a healthy level of vegetation on your planet (represented by the green bar). The more vegetation you have, the faster your population will grow. Likewise, if your vegetation levels become too low, your people will starve to death and the population will begin to decline.

The vegetation grows when it has the adequate amount of sunlight and water. For ideal vegetation and, therefore, population growth, you should try to keep the Sun and Water levels at the ideal point, indicated by your Sun and Water meters being 50% full. If you have too much sunlight, the vegetation will dry up and your people will die. If you have little sunlight, the vegetation cannot grow and your people are hungry. Same concept with water. If you have too much, the vegetation will flood and die. Little, and the drought will set in. Check your planet every day to ensure the perfect amount of sun and water!
