Brief history.
In the year 2050, the sun released a catastrophic wave of energy into space, a wave of power that would plunge our civilization into chaos for centuries. Although predicted for years by the scientific community, its warnings were ignored by world leaders who, instead, disputed petty territorial issues.
When the energy wave hit the Earth, a storm of radioactive particles covered the atmosphere in a deadly, cancerous mist. The fog killed indiscriminately … the young, old, rich and poor all fell to the same extent. Only those who followed the warnings and took shelter in abandoned bunkers were spared.
