Reading a barcode scanner (i.e. your camera): in this case, after receiving the code, the program displays the country of registration of the brand of your products (not to be confused with product production) and performs the checksum calculation (a checksum to identify the genuine items);
Entering the barcode through the keyboard: when you type numbers with this method, the information about the country and the checksum will be updated after each press, therefore if you want to know only the country, you don’t need to enter the barcode completely.
