Meteorfall is a deck-building roguelike game. You will choose your class from one of the four unique adventurers and leave with a deck of basic attack cards. During the course of your adventure, you will have the opportunity to add new and powerful cards to your deck.
No adventure would be complete without killing a few monsters that stand in your way. In battle, you draw cards from your skill deck. Each time you draw a card, you can swipe right to play the card or swipe left to skip a turn and regain some resistance.
Between battles, you will venture to a variety of locations, represented by a meeting deck. You’ll find blacksmiths who can upgrade your cards, temples that can help you optimize your deck, and mysterious characters who will make all kinds of bargains.
The tactical strategy of combat micro-decisions, combined with the strategic element of deck building, provides a compelling and profound gaming experience.
As with all roguelikes, death is permanent. You will get some jewels that you can use to unlock new cards, but after that you will return to the drawing board. Start with a new adventurer and start your search all over again.
