In a very, very distant land, there was a vast continent called Milton. Countless stories of alliances, upheavals and moments of peace adorn this tapestry, but this is a story for another day.

Our story begins in a remote kingdom to the north, Iblis, a dark and often overlooked place. It is a wild and arid land, a place where its people live off the land, mining minerals for the lords of the south. Occasionally, adventurers would stop to spend the night, but they never stayed long. Until one day, a novice adventurer got lost and tripped over a hole. The story might have ended then if he hadn’t come back, but he did, with bags of gold and glittering treasures.

Like a strong gale from the north, news of his fame and fortune spread through the kingdoms at night, and kings sent their bravest warriors and adventurers to clear the cave of monsters in search of treasure. Even peasants who wanted a part of this newfound wealth participated in these expeditions. In no time, a bustling city appeared in this forgotten place. People set up camps and formed their own groups to explore the cave. Smart traders, not missing this opportunity, built taverns and shops near the cave, selling equipment and potions to eager adventurers. At first, everything seemed fine. As explorers dived into the caves, they found new creatures and discovered new treasures. Mysteries continued to pour out of the cave, but no one knew where the source of the secrets was. However, as explorations continued, the balance of wealth beyond the cave began to falter, and cracks appeared among adventurers who had already worked hand in hand. The laggards or the weak, limited to roaming the upper levels of the cave, could only watch while the veteran adventurers brought treasure after treasure from the depths. They began to harbor dark thoughts as they watched veteran adventurers become arrogant with their generosity, giving orders to people, accumulating secrets from the rest. The place became a pool inflamed with suspicion and greed, mired in jealous rage.
